• Full-time, day shifts, 36 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care utilizing the nursing process within an IMC, PCU, or stepdown unit.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individual patient needs; document actions and patient responses.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to coordinate care.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, following protocols and policies.
• Ensure patient safety and deliver patient-centered, efficient, and equitable care.
• Supervise and support LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Nursing license in the State of New Mexico or a Compact State.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from recognized providers (American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Safety).
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in an 18+ bed telemetry or progressive care unit.
• Successful completion of at least one 13-week travel assignment.
• Ability to pass a Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia (BCA) test onsite; re-test opportunity provided.
• Two (2) years current telemetry or progressive care experience.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Epic EMR experience.
• NIHSS certification (preferred).
