• Full-time, travel assignment, days shifts, 5 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care for patients in the operating room among various specialties, including OB/GYN, Orthopedics, Urology, General Surgery, Robotics-GYN and General, Neuro-Spine, Endoscopies, and Ophthalmology.
• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of a sterile environment for surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR staff to ensure safe and efficient surgeries.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to intraoperative needs.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and unit-specific guidelines.
• Document patient care activities accurately utilizing the facility’s documentation system.

Required Qualifications

• Active nursing license required.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS.
• Minimum of 2 years of OR nursing experience.
• Ability to work 8.5-hour shifts in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Familiarity with Meditech Expanse or similar documentation systems.
• Experience performing a wide range of surgical procedures in a hospital setting.
• Ability to float within various OR specialties as needed.
