Job Title

• Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

• Anchorage, AK

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, travel assignment
• Nights shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
• Duration: 13 weeks (with possible extension)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care to patients in a fast-paced environment
• Triage and assess patient conditions, prioritizing care based on acuity
• Administer treatments, medications, and interventions per protocol
• Collaborate with medical team to develop and implement patient care plans
• Document all patient interactions accurately in the EMR system
• Perform procedures such as splinting and breathing treatments as needed

Required Qualifications

• Valid Alaska RN license (must have at time of submission)
• At least 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience
• Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NIH, and ENPC certifications
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a rotating schedule

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with stroke and STEMI patients
• Trauma and pediatric emergency care experience
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR system and advanced ER equipment (Lucas, Alaris IV pumps, GE monitors)
• Strong team player with flexible, positive personality and excellent communication skills
