Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, Night shifts, 3 shifts per week, 13-week contract with call shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to ICU patients, ensuring patient safety and comfort
- Float to Med Surg units as needed to support hospital staffing needs
- Document patient care accurately in the Meditech 6.0 electronic medical records system
- Participate in scheduled call shifts, including 24-hour call duties
- Adhere to all safety and operational protocols specific to ICU and Med Surg departments
Required Qualifications
- Current ICU nursing license
- ACLS and BLS certification
- Willingness to float to Medical-Surgical units if required
- Experience with Meditech 6.0 EMR system preferred
- Ability to work night shifts and flexible call schedules
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior ICU experience in a hospital setting
- Ability to handle high-acuity patient care in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
