Schedule / Job Type
Full-time, travel assignment, 13 weeks, nights shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care to telemetry patients in a hospital setting.
• Obtain and monitor cardiac telemetry data to assess patient status.
• Administer medications, IVs, and perform procedures such as NG tubes and central line management.
• Document patient care accurately using the Epic system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere to hospital policies, including float policies and unit-specific guidelines.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in the state of Alaska.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience, specifically with telemetry.
• Experience with NG tubes, central lines, and other advanced procedures.
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and adapt to floating to similar units if needed.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in a surgical or post-surgical unit.
• Familiarity with hospital documentation systems such as Epic.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
