• Rotating shifts, 12-hour shifts (Night and Day options)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency care to adult patients in a Level 1 trauma and teaching facility.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using EPIC electronic charting.
• Float within scope across units as needed to ensure optimal patient care.
• Adhere to facility policies including Virginia’s fingerprinting and background check requirements.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care in a fast-paced ER environment.
• Maintain compliance with all facility and state regulations, including specific policies on mental health and infection control.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of recent ER nursing experience.
• Current VA or Compact State RN license.
• EPIC electronic health record experience.
• Ability to pass background checks and fingerprinting requirements.
• Availability to work 12-hour night or day shifts, with flexibility to float as needed.
• SSN, DOB, address, phone, and email information must be submitted at the time of application.
• Candidate must be willing to complete required modules during orientation.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• BSN degree preferred.
• Experience in adult emergency care and trauma cases.
• Knowledge of Virginia-specific healthcare regulations and policies.
