- Full-time, evening shift (5x8 hours)
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and perform maintenance on EEGs in the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU).
- Cover inpatient EEG requests as needed.
- Work during scheduled holidays, including one weekend per month.
- Ensure compliance with all protocol and documentation requirements.
- Collaborate with medical staff to support patient care activities.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of EEG technician experience.
- EMU monitoring experience is required.
- Experience with pediatric EEGs is required.
- Ability to work evening shift (5x8 hours).
- Valid VA or compact state licensing at the time of submission.
- Experience with EPIC charting system.
- Candidate must have SSN, DOB, and address details included at submission.
- Ability to work during scheduled holidays and weekends.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- BSN degree preferred.
- Experience with Virginia or compact state licensing.
- Previous experience with inpatient EEG monitoring.
- Candidates familiar with AAMI or other EEG standards are a plus.
