Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab/EP

Full-time, Day shift (4 days per week, 10-hour shifts)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized nursing care in the Electrophysiology (EP) lab, supporting procedures including ablations (AFib, SVT, epicardial VT, PVC, AFLutter), device implantations (ICDs, pacemakers, Micra, S-ICD), pericardial taps, and cardioversions.
• Scrub, circulate, and monitor patients during EP procedures.
• Assist with multiple lab types and team configurations, ensuring patient safety and procedural success.
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and maintain active RN license.
• Float within scope as needed, providing adaptable support across departments.

Required Qualifications:

• Active RN license in Virginia or a compact state.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent clinical experience in an electrophysiology or cardiac cath lab setting.
• EP lab or electrophysiology experience, including familiarity with EP procedures and charting (Epic experience preferred).
• Ability to work 10-hour day shifts, with late shifts 1-2 times per week, potentially staying past scheduled hours.
• Willingness to participate in holiday call rotations, especially during summer.
• Must provide references, SSN, DOB, and proof of travel compliance documentation (including background checks and fingerprinting results).
• Candidates must be fully vaccinated and meet facility-specific requirements.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• BSN degree preferred.
• Experience with EP lab modules and orientation through VCU Learning Exchange preferred.
• Flexibility to float within clinical scope and adapt to different roles as needed.
