• Full-time, 12-hour day shifts, contract

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care to renal and limb preservation patients, including ESRD, ARF, vascular procedures, CHF, diabetics, and diabetic foot ulcers
• Monitor and interpret telemetry and dysrhythmias, managing patient rhythms effectively
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver coordinated inpatient care
• Follow unit protocols for dialysis treatments, including hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis
• Adhere to unit policies including self-scheduling and completing orientation hours
• Ensure compliance with all travel and hospital-specific requirements, including tests and certifications

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a hospital setting
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• Ability to interpret EKGs and dysrhythmias
• Valid North Carolina or Compact State RN license in hand at start
• Pass EKG testing prior to assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification
• Experience in telemetry and renal care units
• Familiarity with electronic medical records systems, especially EPIC
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
