Job Title

• Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Location

• Iron Mountain, MI

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Mids shifts, 12-hour shifts, approximately 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population in a high-volume ER setting
• Manage trauma patients, STEMI, strokes, and other variable diagnoses with adherence to protocols
• Collaborate with ED physicians, mid-level providers, and support staff to ensure quality patient care
• Monitor and operate medical equipment including EKGs, IV drips, and central monitoring systems
• Triage and hold patients as needed, utilizing designated triage and holding areas
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and safety procedures throughout shift

Required Qualifications

• Valid Michigan RN license in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years of recent emergency department experience
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in trauma, STEMI receiving, or stroke centers
• Prior experience working in complex ER settings with variable patient acuity
• Comfortable working with diverse patient populations, including trauma and behavioral health
