• Registered Nurse - Emergency Room
Location
• Portsmouth, NH
Schedule / Job Type
• Travel, 13-week assignment, Day shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM), working 3 days per week
Key Responsibilities
• Provide emergency nursing care in a fast-paced, full-service ER environment
• Assess, prioritize, and respond to patient needs effectively
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures per hospital protocol
• Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient care
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record (Meditech)
• Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards
Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years of recent ER experience in a hospital setting
• Valid and active Compact nursing license at submission
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS and/or ENPC, TNCC
• Ability to work independently in a critical care environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience in a Fast-Track Emergency Department (FSED)
• Certifications such as CEN, CPEN, or TCRN
