Registered Nurse - IR/Special Procedures

Location: Peoria, IL

Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, days, 4 shifts per week, 9 hours per shift

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care in an Interventional Radiology (IR) and Special Procedures department, supporting high-acuity cases such as GI bleeds, strokes, biopsies, central lines, and drains.
• Assist with patient assessments, monitor vitals, and interpret EKGs; require drip titration experience.
• Collaborate with charge RNs and techs to ensure patient safety and procedural success.
• Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC EMR system and adhere to unit protocols.
• Participate in department-specific orientation and comply with call and on-call requirements.
• Support patient care with ratios up to 1:1 during procedures and up to 1:4 in recovery.

Required Qualifications:

• Active Illinois RN license or confirmation of application initiation
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• EKG interpretation skills
• Experience with drip titration
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR and Phillips monitors

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Previous IR or Special Procedures nursing experience
• Ability to interpret complex patient data and manage multiple cases
• Flexibility to cover call shifts including weekends and holidays
