Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to residents in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Monitor patient health status and report significant changes to the medical team.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and assessments.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure quality resident care.
- Follow facility protocols and uphold patient safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Valid LVN or LPN license in the state of New Mexico.
- Proven experience in LTC or SNF environments.
- Strong knowledge of nursing practices and patient care procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience with elderly or long-term care patients.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR).
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
