Job Title

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Days shifts, 8.5 hours per shift, 4 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Assist licensed physical therapists in delivering treatment programs to patients.
• Monitor and document patient progress and response to therapy.
• Support patient mobility and recovery through therapeutic exercises.
• Prepare treatment areas and maintain equipment.
• Educate patients and family members on therapy routines and post-treatment care.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards.

Required Qualifications

• Valid PTA license or certification in the state of Virginia.
• Prior experience assisting with physical therapy treatments (preferred).
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology and documentation procedures.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in a clinical or outpatient setting.
• Familiarity with therapy equipment and modalities.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus.
