Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to residents in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Monitor and document patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality resident care.
- Adhere to all local and state regulations related to nursing practices.
- Complete shift documentation accurately and promptly.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
- Previous experience in long-term care (LTC) or skilled nursing facilities preferred.
- Ability to work 12.5-hour shifts and adapt to scheduled weekly hours.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience with elderly or chronically ill patient populations.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, residential care environment.
