- Full-time, Days shift, 7.5 hours per day, 5 days per week
Key Responsibilities
- Support elementary students in grades K-5 with special education needs.
- Provide instructional support as part of an elementary resource split program, working half-time at one school and half-time at another.
- Assist the full-time SPED teacher in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Collaborate with general education staff to meet diverse student needs.
- Support classroom management and student engagement in both assignments.
Required Qualifications
- Valid special education teaching certification/license.
- Experience working with elementary students, preferably in a resource or support role.
- Ability to collaborate with staff and support diverse learners.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience supporting elementary students in a special education setting.
- Familiarity with IEP development and implementation.
- Ability to adapt instructional strategies for various student needs.
