- Full-time, travel contract, night shifts, 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in a 22-bed medical unit specializing in IMC, PCU, and stepdown patients
- Monitor and evaluate patient conditions, administer medications, and perform dressing changes
- Collaborate with a team of nurses and healthcare professionals to deliver quality patient care
- Maintain accurate documentation using standard EMR systems
- Ensure compliance with unit policies, safety protocols, and certification requirements
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas or compact state
- BLS certification
- At least 1 year of RN experience in a hospital setting
- Ability to float between unit areas including PCU, Tele, and Med Surg
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience caring for burn, reconstructive, stroke, or cardiac patients
- Strong independence and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR system
