Therapist - Respiratory Therapist
Location: Spokane, WA
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, night shifts (3x12 Hours)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide respiratory therapy services to patients across various hospital units, including Emergency Department, Pediatric, and Floor care.
- Float between different units as needed, supporting patient care based on acuity levels.
- Collaborate with medical staff to develop and implement respiratory treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatments within hospital systems.
- Adhere to hospital policies and safety protocols, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in on-call duties as scheduled, with every other weekend shifts required.
Required Qualifications:
- Valid state-issued Respiratory Therapist (RT) license.
- Current certification in basic life support (BLS) and advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital setting, preferably in an acute care or trauma center.
- Proficiency with Epic charting system or comparable electronic medical records system.
- Ability to efficiently float between units and adapt to changing patient needs.
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Previous experience working in a Level II Trauma or Pediatric Trauma Center.
- Familiarity with emergency department procedures and floor care.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
