- Night shifts, 12.5 hours per shift, 3 shifts per week, travel assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) setting utilizing the nursing process in compliance with state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies.
- Demonstrate critical thinking, clinical judgment, and leadership to ensure safe and effective patient care delivery.
- Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education and training.
- Delegate patient care tasks appropriately based on staff experience and qualifications.
- Supervise and provide direction to assigned personnel delivering patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Texas or multi-state compact RN license (must be attached to resume).
- 2 to 5 years of relevant clinical experience.
- ACLS and BLS certifications (must be through the American Heart Association).
- Vent/trach management experience.
- Knowledge of central lines; wound care and LTAC experience preferred.
- Must follow the provided submission template for consideration.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Wound care and LTAC-specific experience.
- Experience with ventilator and tracheostomy management.
- Knowledge of central line care and maintenance.
