Full-time, 3 days per week, day shifts (12-hour shifts)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 36-bed telemetry/surgical floor.
• Administer medications, monitor patient vital signs, and document patient progress in EPIC electronic health records.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Ensure compliance with safety and clinical protocols, including BLS and NIH/stroke education standards.
• Float to other units as needed based on facility requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Current Virginia RN licensure or proof of compact license.
• BLS certification.
• EPIC electronic health record experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care experience in a surgical or telemetry setting.
• Valid VA licenses or proof of license in hand at submission.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior supervisory or charge nurse experience.
• Experience with stroke and NIH education as required for acute care hospitals under Riverside Health.
• Strong charting skills within EPIC.
