- Full-time, Days shift, 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care for patients undergoing cardiac procedures and treatments
- Assist with electrophysiology procedures, including pacemaker and defibrillator programming, cardiac mapping, and ablations
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, manage arrhythmias, and perform cardioversion
- Support patient education regarding lifestyle modifications, medication adherence, and post-procedure care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes in an outpatient cardiology setting
Required Qualifications
- Valid WA RN license or Compact license
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in cardiology, EP labs, or related fields
- Experience with pacemaker/defibrillator lead extraction, Watchman procedures, and cardiac ablations
- Proficiency in ECG interpretation, conduction studies, and AICD programming
- EPIC charting experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Familiarity with GLP-1 therapies for atrial fibrillation management
- Experience working in risk factor modification clinics or device clinics
- Strong patient engagement and education skills, particularly around medication and lifestyle adherence
- Participation in quality improvement initiatives and team collaboration
