Job Title

• Full-time, dayshift, 8 hours per shift, 5 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct physical therapy interventions as planned, delegated, and supervised by a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Record treatments administered and document progress in medical records following company policy and regulatory standards.
• Evaluate, plan, and administer treatments to residents and patients with temporary or long-term disabilities to relieve pain, restore or improve function, and promote healing.
• Support and instruct patients, families, and caregivers on treatment plans and procedures.
• Monitor patient response to interventions and adjust as necessary to ensure optimal care.
• Ensure all treatments are delivered according to established care plans.

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Certification from the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE) for PTAs, administered by the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy.
• Strong understanding of human anatomy and physiology.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow instructions from a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Empathy and patience when working with patients.
• Physical stamina to assist patients with movement and exercises.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior clinical experience working with disabled or rehabilitation patients is a plus.
• Experience in a therapeutic or healthcare environment.
