Job Title
• Therapist - Physical Therapy Assistant
Location
• Sheridan, WY
Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Days shifts, 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week
Key Responsibilities
• Evaluate, plan, and administer physical therapy treatments to residents with disabilities to improve function, reduce pain, and promote healing
• Follow established care plans to ensure quality patient care and document treatments accurately
• Provide clinical support and instruction to patients, families, and caregivers
• Monitor patient responses to interventions and adjust treatments as needed
• Complete all required documentation in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements
Required Qualifications
• Associate degree from a CAPTE-accredited PTA program
• Certification from the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE) for PTAs
• Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow instructions from a licensed Physical Therapist
• Physical stamina to assist with patient movements and exercises
Preferred Experience / Skills
• At least 1 year of experience in a skilled nursing or similar healthcare facility
