Key Responsibilities
- Assess and treat speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders for sub-acute rehabilitation patients.
- Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and families on treatment options and therapy goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment activities.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- State license as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- At least 1 year of experience in a skilled nursing facility
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working with sub-acute rehabilitation populations
- Knowledge of current speech therapy techniques and best practices
