Job Title

• Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical (Travel)

Schedule / Job Type

• Travel, 13-week assignment, Night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care to medical surgical patients, including post-operative and general medical patients.
• Monitor cardiac and respiratory functions using standard equipment and cardiac monitors.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care.
• Document patient status and care activities accurately in electronic medical records.
• Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and high patient turnover.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• BLS certification.
• Ability to work six-hour night shifts.
• Willing to work weekends and holidays as assigned.
• Strong communication skills and positive attitude.
• Ability to handle high patient turnover and fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in medical-surgical or step-down units.
• Knowledge of HCAHPS and patient satisfaction metrics.
• Previous experience monitoring cardiac needs, but arrhythmia management not required.
• Ability to work well within a team and demonstrate self-motivation.
