Registered Nurse - Emergency Room
Location: Baltimore, MD
Schedule / Job Type: Nights, Full-time, 4x12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency care to patients in a fast-paced ER environment.
• Float within the facility to assist with overflow patients on the 3rd floor and support nearby affiliate hospitals as needed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient assessments, treatments, and vital signs accurately.
• Adhere to hospital protocols, safety standards, and compliance requirements.
• Respond swiftly to emergency situations, utilizing advanced clinical skills.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of recent ER nursing experience.
• Valid Maryland or Compact nursing license.
• Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NCC certifications.
• Experience in Level I or Level II Trauma Centers.
• Ability to work nights and 12-hour shifts.
• References demonstrating recent ER experience.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a comprehensive Stroke Center, Cath Lab, Open Heart Center, NICU, PICU, or Peds hospital.
• Ability to float within scope and adapt to different units as needed.
• Familiarity with virtual modules and ongoing professional development.
