- Travel, Night shifts, 12-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to postpartum mothers and newborns in a maternal infant unit
- Monitor labor and delivery processes, including vaginal deliveries and C-sections
- Care for antepartum patients and support during labor and delivery
- Administer required medications and perform routine procedures per unit protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record system
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of labor and delivery nursing experience
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Certification
- Experience working in high-volume LDRP settings preferred
- Ability to handle complex postpartum and newborn care
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Additional 2+ years of labor and delivery experience
- Prior experience in a high-volume facility
- Knowledge of GE fetal monitors and Meditech EMR
