Job Title

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, 13-week contract, days, 8-hour shifts, no weekend or holiday rotation, with guaranteed 40 hours per week. Overtime available.

Key Responsibilities

• Administers and performs therapeutic interventions with clients.
• Assesses clients' needs and develops tailored therapy plans.
• Safeguards clients’ property and maintains privacy and confidentiality.
• Encourages clients’ independence and supports their self-esteem.
• Documents observations and services provided and communicates with physicians and team members.
• Trains clients, families, and staff on interventions and equipment use.
• Utilizes appropriate safety and infection control procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited speech/language pathology or occupational therapy program preferred.
• Certification for the state of practice.
• Prior experience in rehabilitation or geriatrics setting preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Basic occupational therapy skills.
• Experience working in SNF and home health settings.
• Knowledge of using Net Health and HCHB software.

Additional Details

• The assignment begins ASAP.
• Travel among locations is required; mileage and drive time are billable.
