- Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Estimated duration: 13 weeks
Key Responsibilities
- Provide psychiatric nursing care to patients on a behavioral health unit.
- Monitor and document patient progress using electronic medical records (Meditech).
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including RNs and mental health technicians.
- Follow all unit protocols and safety procedures.
- Respond effectively to patient needs and emergencies.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- CPR certification.
- CPI certification (Crisis Prevention and Intervention).
- Experience or training in adult behavioral health.
- Ability to work night shifts and handle a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Additional training in behavioral health or mental health.
- Compassionate, motivated, and patient-centered approach.
- Excellent soft skills and teamwork abilities.
