Key Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient rehabilitation therapy to patients at Johnston Willis Hospital, specializing in neuro and stroke rehab.
• Conduct neuro-reeducation using advanced technology such as Bioness UE Functional E-Stim and BITS, RT300 FES Bike, and BariRehab Mat.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including OT/PT staff, to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Document patient progress and therapy sessions using Meditech Expanse.
• Float to other hospital therapy departments as needed, following floating policies and protocols.
• Adhere to hospital-specific policies, dress code, and safety guidelines to ensure quality patient care.

Required Qualifications

• Valid license as a Physical Therapist
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant therapy experience
• Inpatient neuro rehab experience, ideally in a hospital setting
• Stroke rehabilitation experience
• Ability to work Monday-Friday, with floating to other units, including acute hospital therapy departments

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with hospital inpatient rehab units, especially in neuro and stroke rehabilitation
• Familiarity with advanced therapeutic technologies such as Bioness UE, BITS, and RT300 FES Bike
• Strong motivation and commitment to professional growth and educating others
