Job Title

Schedule / Job Type

• Rotating shifts, 13-week contract, full-time hours (36 hours per week following orientation), variable shift lengths and days, no guarantee of hours or shift preference

Key Responsibilities

• Provide medical/surgical level nursing care to patients aged 18 and over
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications, and perform necessary treatments
• Float to different units such as surgical, pediatric, or transitional care as needed
• Utilize hospital equipment including Meditech EMR, Pyxis, wound vacs, and chest tubes
• Maintain professional nursing standards and deliver patient-centered care

Required Qualifications

• Valid Hawaii RN license (candidates not currently licensed in HI must apply upon acceptance)
• Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in medical surgical or higher care levels
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Ability to work flexible hours, including variable shifts and days
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with EMR systems and complex medical equipment
• Ability to adapt to float assignments across different units
• Strong communication and clinical skills
