Therapist - Occupational Therapy Assistant

Location: Palo Alto, CA

Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, 13-week contract, rotating shifts, 30 hours guaranteed per week, starting ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist licensed occupational therapists in delivering patient-centered therapy services
• Support patients in regaining functional skills and independence
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate therapy records
• Implement treatment plans and therapeutic activities as directed
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Adapt therapy approaches to meet individual patient needs

Required Qualifications:

• Valid certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA)
• State licensure or registration as required by California
• Strong understanding of therapy techniques and patient care procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Prior experience working in rehabilitation or outpatient settings
• Ability to work effectively in rotating shift schedules
• Knowledge of documentation and electronic health records systems
