Job Title

• LVN / LPN - Rehab

• Salem, VA

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, 13-week travel assignment, dayshift (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM), working 3 days per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient rehabilitation nursing care, including medication administration, IV care, and procedural treatments
• Monitor patient progress and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams such as physical, occupational, and speech therapy
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech system
• Assist with procedures including bladder scans, trach care, tube feedings, Foley catheter management, bladder irrigation, and blood administration
• Participate in patient education and support for functional independence goals

Required Qualifications

• Valid VA RN or LPN license
• BLS certification
• Minimum of 2+ years of Med/Surg or PCU experience
• Rehab experience preferred, with the ability to perform multiple nursing procedures

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior rehab unit experience is a plus
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
• Strong documentation skills and adaptability to float to other medical-surgical departments as needed
