Registered Nurse - Emergency Room
Location: Baltimore, MD
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Night shifts (3x12-hour shifts per week)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to diverse patient populations in a Level I or Level II trauma center.
• Monitor and assess patients in a fast-paced ER environment, ensuring prompt and effective treatment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Assist in procedures within the ED, including cath lab, stroke center activities, and open heart care when needed.
• Float within the facility to support overflow areas, including ICU and peds units, ensuring seamless patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all hospital protocols and safety standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Maryland or Compact RN license at the time of submission.
• Minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.
• Experience working in a Level I or Level II trauma center.
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to floating assignments within scope.
• References required.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience in cath lab, stroke, open heart, NICU, or PICU settings.
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred but not required.
• Comfortable working in a comprehensive hospital environment with overflow patient management.
