Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, 4x10-hour days (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM), days shift

Key Responsibilities
• Prepare pump lines from perfusion for cannulation and assist during surgical procedures
• Support vascular, thoracic, and complex cardiac surgeries including aneurysm repairs, valve replacements, and transplants
• Maintain strict adherence to safety and patient care protocols in a Level 1 Trauma Center setting
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure efficient operating room flow and patient safety
• Manage call responsibilities, totaling 90-120 hours over a 6-week schedule
• Comply with all certification and licensure requirements prior to start date

Required Qualifications
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a circulating scrub technician in a Level 1 Trauma Center
• Current NBSTSA certification and Basic Cardiopulmonary Life Support (BCLS) certification
• Ability to receive pump lines from perfusion and prepare for cannulation
• Active licensure in the state of Indiana (temporary licenses may be obtained)
• Skilled in vascular, thoracic, and cardiac surgical procedures

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Previous experience with complex cardiac surgeries such as TAVR, TEVAR, VAD, and heart/lung transplants
• Familiarity with robotic-assisted cardiac surgery and endovascular procedures
• Experience working in high-acuity trauma or specialty surgical environments

• Floating within the hospital or nearby facilities is required
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
