• Registered Nurse - Hospice

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, 3 days per week, day shifts (12-hour shifts)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide hospice nursing care in an inpatient hospital setting.
• Cover weekend shifts on an every other weekend basis.
• Be flexible with day and night shifts to fill staffing gaps.
• Collaborate with hospital staff and float as needed within scope.
• Ensure compliance with travel and hospital policies, including documentation and certifications.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Maryland or Compact RN license at the time of submission.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience (hospital or hospice preferred).
• Charting experience.
• Willingness to work flexible days and nights, including weekend coverage.
• References required.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Charge nurse experience.
• Experience with inpatient hospice care.
• Experience with hospital charting systems.

Additional Notes

• Travel compliance requirements include Tier 2 travel and specific documentation.

• Modules are completed virtually on the first day and annually, recorded via transcripts.
