Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the labor and delivery unit.
- Monitor fetal and maternal health using advanced fetal monitoring techniques.
- Assist with labor, delivery, and postpartum care for patients, including pediatric care for newborns.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Float to medical-surgical units as needed to support patient care.
- Participate in on-call rotations, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Kansas RN license.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications.
- Completion of a fetal monitoring class (intermediate or advanced) within the past 24 months.
- Minimum of 2 years of labor and delivery experience.
- Willingness to float to medical-surgical units and care for pediatric patients.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 3+ years of LDR experience in a rural hospital setting.
- Prior travel nursing experience.
- Experience with electronic health record systems, preferably EPIC.
- Knowledge of rural healthcare practices.

Additional Details
- Shift: Night hours, 18:45-07:15
- Duration: Start options on 2/16 or 2/23.
- Orientation: Virtual orientation every Monday.
- On-call: 2-3 shifts per month, including holidays and every/other weekend.
- Travel and float requirements included.
- Bi-weekly pay and a nicotine-free facility.
