• Full-time, days shifts, 5 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct physical therapy interventions as planned, delegated, and supervised by a licensed Physical Therapist
• Evaluate, plan, and administer treatments to residents and patients with temporary or long-term disabilities to relieve pain, restore function, and promote healing
• Record treatments provided and note patient progress in medical records
• Monitor patient response to treatment interventions and adjust care as needed
• Complete all required documentation in compliance with organizational policies and state/federal regulations
• Provide instruction and support to patients, families, and caregivers to ensure effective therapy and understanding

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree from a CAPTE-accredited PTA program
• Certification from the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE) for PTAs
• Strong understanding of human anatomy and physiology
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow directions from a licensed Physical Therapist
• Empathy, patience, and physical stamina to assist with patient movement and exercises

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience working in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting
• Knowledge of documentation standards and regulatory compliance
