Therapist - Physical Therapist

Location: Rockville, MD

Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, outpatient; Day shifts (Monday-Thursday 8:30 AM - 6:30 PM, potential for 5 days/week)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide pediatric physical therapy services in an outpatient clinical setting.
• Manage a daily caseload of approximately 6-7 pediatric patients.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary rehab team to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Document patient progress using Cerner Electronic Medical Records system.
• Ensure compliance with facility guidelines and documentation standards.
• Contribute to patient recovery and improve functional outcomes through evidence-based therapies.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid state license as a Physical Therapist at the time of submission.
• Minimum of 2 years of pediatric therapy experience.
• BLS certification.
• Ability to work the preferred schedule of Monday-Thursday, with flexibility for 5-day schedules if needed.
• Experience with pediatric populations and outpatient settings.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Previous experience at a teaching hospital or outpatient pediatric clinic.
• Proficiency with therapy equipment such as parallel bars, LiteGait, and FESScrub.
• Ability to bill at least 25 hours per week (scheduled at 29 hours).
• Strong documentation skills and familiarity with Cerner system.
