Job Title
• Therapist - Physical Therapy Assistant

Location
• Amarillo, TX

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Day shifts, 8 hours per shift, 5 days per week

Key Responsibilities
• Evaluate, plan, and administer physical therapy treatments to residents with temporary or long-term disabilities to relieve pain, restore function, and promote healing
• Deliver treatments according to an established plan of care and document all interventions accurately
• Provide clinical instruction and support to patients, families, and caregivers
• Monitor patient responses to treatments and adjust care plans as needed
• Complete required documentation complying with company policies and regulatory standards

Required Qualifications
• Associate degree from a CAPTE-accredited PTA program
• Certification from the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE) for PTAs, administered by the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy (FSBPT)
• Strong understanding of human anatomy and physiology
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow instructions from a licensed Physical Therapist
• Physical stamina to assist patients with movement and exercises

Preferred Experience / Skills
• At least 1 year of experience working in a skilled nursing facility
