- Travel, 12-hour night shifts, 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide dialysis treatments to patients on scheduled shifts, including bedside and peritoneal dialysis.
- Float to other units and hospitals as needed, ensuring continuous patient care coverage.
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, including holiday and weekend coverage.
- Collaborate with certified dialysis technicians and healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Maintain accurate documentation using the Meditech EMR system.
- Comply with all safety and infection control protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in nursing (ASN or BSN preferred).
- Valid Alabama or compact Registered Nurse license (no temporary licenses accepted).
- BLS or Red Cross certification.
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience, with at least 1 year in dialysis.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English proficiently.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Professional nursing certification is a plus.
- Prior experience working with dialysis patients in a hospital setting.
