Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, 13-week contract, Night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), 36 hours/week, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care in a fast-paced, high-volume operating room setting
• Scrub and/or circulate for a variety of surgical procedures including general, transplant, neuro, spine, orthopedic trauma, robotics, ENT, GYN, Urology, and organ procurement
• Support patients undergoing complex surgeries such as kidney and liver transplants, trauma, and neuro surgeries
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
• Adhere to all hospital protocols and standards for infection control and patient care
• Assist with pre-operative preparation and post-operative recovery of patients

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Massachusetts
• Experience in operating room nursing, specifically with kidney transplants, trauma, neuro, spine, or robotics required
• Ability to scrub and circulate for a variety of surgical procedures
• Strong knowledge of sterile techniques and OR protocols
• Flexibility to work night shifts and weekends as needed
• Must have recent OR experience within a hospital setting

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in Level I Trauma OR environments
• Knowledge of robotic-assisted surgeries
• Prior work with transplant, neuro, or spine surgeries

Additional Details

• No local travelers accepted; candidates must reside beyond 50 miles from the facility
• Orientation conducted weekly on Mondays (excluding holidays)
• Guaranteed hours: 72 hours biweekly (excluding on-call time)
• No call responsibilities, with holidays and weekends eligible for work
• Start date: ASAP or within 4 weeks for compliance
