Registered Nurse - Telemetry
Location: Burlington, MA
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, rotating shifts, 12-hour days and nights (7 PM - 7:30 AM / 7 AM - 7:30 PM), rotating every 4 weeks, including every other weekend (Saturday & Sunday for days, Friday - Sunday for nights)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized nursing care to telemetry patients in a fast-paced environment.
- Float to various units including ED holdings, inpatient holds, PACU, and other boarding units as needed.
- Complete day one pass/fail testing, with access to Relias practice exams.
- Adhere to staffing ratios of 1:3 to 1:5 and ensure compliance with shift rotations.
- Support trauma patients, with Level 1 trauma experience preferred.
- Follow all hospital policies and safety protocols, including BLS certification.
Required Qualifications:
- Valid RN license in the state of Massachusetts.
- BLS provider certification from AHA.
- Epic experience is required.
- Must have taken at least 6 months off from BILH system (if previously employed there).
- Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- ACLS and NIHSS certifications are preferred.
- Level 1 trauma experience is highly desirable.
- Experience working in telemetry or similar units.
