Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized telemetry nursing care in a hospital setting.
• Float to various units including Emergency Department holds, inpatient holds, PACU, and other boarding units as needed.
• Adhere to patient ratios of 1:3–5 and support smooth patient transitions.
• Follow all hospital protocols and maintain compliance with certification requirements.
• Participate in required weekend shifts on a rotational basis.
• Support patient recovery and ensure safety during all assigned shifts.

Required Qualifications

• Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA.
• Epic electronic health record experience.
• Ability to pass day-one skills testing.
• Flexibility to work every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday for days, or Friday through Sunday for nights).
• Minimum 6 months of separation from prior employment with BILH (for non-permanent staff).

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification from AHA.
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification.
• Level 1 trauma experience.
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred; if no travel experience, Level 1 trauma is required.

• Training includes a BILH coversheet submission, Relias practice tests, and initial skills assessment.
• Contract includes a 72-hour weekly guarantee with no on-call hours included.
• Shifts are 12 hours long, scheduled 3 nights per week, with floating in 4-hour blocks when needed.
