Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Location: Columbus, OH

Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Nights (3x12-hour shifts)

Key Responsibilities:

• Start and manage IVs and administer medications safely
• Monitor vital signs and patient responses
• Educate patients on treatments and self-care
• Collaborate with the care team on patient care plans
• Use EPIC EMR for accurate charting
• Float to lower acuity units as needed
• Follow hospital policies to maintain patient safety

Required Qualifications:

• Active Ohio RN license or valid compact license
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience
• BCLS and IV certification
• EPIC experience preferred
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and multitasking skills

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Travel experience a plus
• Ability to complete Ohio fingerprinting process promptly
• Willingness to work flexible shifts and possibly some weekends

Travel Compliance:
Candidates must complete Ohio fingerprinting immediately upon signing and adhere to strict compliance deadlines. Out-of-state travelers within driving distance will need to visit an Ohio fingerprinting location; more distant travelers will receive a mailed fingerprinting packet. Only submit candidates who are responsive and cooperative with credentialing processes.

References:
Two professional references required, including at least one from a supervisor or other leadership role. Former employees eligible after a 6-month break.

Education:
Degree from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.
