Key Responsibilities

• Perform computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures across various hospital units including outpatient, inpatient, ER, and teaching hospital settings.
• Operate Siemens imaging equipment safely and accurately to produce diagnostic images of extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, head, chest/thorax, and other areas.
• Initiate IV starts and administer contrast agents as needed for imaging procedures.
• Assist with teaching and training other staff members when necessary.
• Float to different units within the organization as required, ensuring compliance with department protocols.

Required Qualifications

• Valid state or compact CT technologist license in Ohio or the ability to obtain one.
• Certifications: BLS and ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists).
• Experience with Siemens CT equipment.
• Demonstrated proficiency in IV starts and contrast procedures.
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts effectively, including weekends and holidays as scheduled.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in outpatient, inpatient, ER, or teaching hospital environments.
• Knowledge of additional imaging procedures such as X-ray and MRI (MRI techs must possess Ohio license or eligibility).
• Strong attention to detail and excellent patient care skills.

• Candidates must complete fingerprinting immediately upon signing the contract to meet strict compliance deadlines.
• Travel compliance and credentialing are critical; responsiveness is essential to avoid credentialing delays or cancellations.
• RTO (Reasonable Time Off) must be built into the contract.
