Key Responsibilities
- Provide independent, routine, and complex nursing care in the Emergency Department.
- Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Address the psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and their families.
- Administer medications and treatments following established protocols, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness.
- Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided accurately.
- Educate patients, family members, and caregivers on health conditions and treatments.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license in the state of Texas or a compact license.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications (American Heart Association only).
- At least 1 year of nursing experience in a relevant specialty preferred.
- Ability to work a night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous ER nursing experience preferred.
- Strong assessment and crisis management skills.
