Job Title
• Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type
• Travel, Full-time, 13-week assignment, Days shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities
• Provide expert nursing care to telemetry patients in a fast-paced hospital environment.
• Monitor cardiac telemetry devices and respond to patient needs promptly.
• Administer treatments, medications, and perform procedures such as Foley and IV insertions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
• Follow unit policies, attend to documentation requirements, and adhere to dress code and attendance policies.
• Support respiratory treatments and phlebotomy procedures as needed during staffing shortages.

Required Qualifications
• Valid RN license in the state of Texas.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Minimal 1 year of recent Medical/Telemetry nursing experience.
• Experience with Accucheck access prior to facility arrival.
• Ability to float between telemetry and observation units.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• CNC or relief charge nurse experience.
• Prior experience with Meditech electronic medical records.
• Flexibility and adaptability to shift schedules and unit policies.
