Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in an Intensive Medical Care (IMC), Progressive Care Unit (PCU), or step-down unit setting.
• Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and perform procedures such as IV starts, wound care, and EKG monitoring.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and documentation requirements.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort during care delivery.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Experience in acute care, IMC, or step-down units preferred.
• Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Knowledge of EMR systems, preferably Cerner.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous ICU or step-down experience.
• At least 1 year of med/surg or similar acute care experience.
• Strong assessment and monitoring skills.
