• Full-time, Nights, 12.5-hour shifts, 13-week travel assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) specializing in IMC/Stepdown care.
• Monitor and manage patient conditions, including neuro and trauma patients.
• Administer medications, IV infusions, and perform procedures such as chest tube management and spinal checks.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure safe and effective patient treatment.
• Document patient information accurately using electronic health records.
• Adhere to unit policies and safety protocols, including float coverage and shift requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in North Carolina or appropriate state.
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a critical care or stepdown setting.
• Ability to work nights and handle high-acuity patients.
• Strong team-player attitude and patient-focused approach.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Neuro and trauma care experience.
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR system.
• Experience with procedures such as PCA pump management and spinal checks.
